Manabrew is not on the App Store. The iOS / iPadOS app is distributed as a sideloaded build, so you install it through SideStore, which re-signs the app with your own Apple ID — no paid Apple Developer account required.

1. Install SideStore

Note

You must install SideStore first — it is what lets you sideload the app onto iOS or iPadOS. There is no way to install Manabrew on iPhone/iPad without it (or another AltStore-compatible sideloader).

Follow the official setup guide at sidestore.io. It walks you through pairing your device and installing SideStore itself. You only do this once per device.

2. Add the Manabrew source

In SideStore, open the Sources tab, tap +, and add:

https://play.manabrew.app/sidestore/apps.json

3. Install Manabrew

Go to the Browse tab, select Manabrew, and tap Install. SideStore signs and installs it to your home screen.

Note

On a free Apple ID, sideloaded apps expire after 7 days — open SideStore and tap Refresh (My Apps) before they lapse. A paid Apple Developer account extends this to a year.
